Position: Treasurer, Meridian Service Metro District
Term: Term Expires May 2025
I arrived in Colorado Springs in 1977. After high school, I received my degree in computer science and joined Hewlett Packard as a computer programmer. As I moved up in the company, I learned 12 software languages before I moved into management. As a worldwide IT support manager, I was responsible for programming teams working throughout the world who provided support for the general ledger, accounts payable, treasury and fixed asset applications. After retiring from HP, I started my second career in homebuilding.
In 2009, I joined the oldest locally owned homebuilder, Campbell Homes, as a laborer. Today, I’m an owner, the president and CFO of the company. Finance, accounting, HR, benefits and IT are my primary areas of responsibilities.
My wife, Nancy, and I have three grown children and five grandchildren.
I joined the Meridian Ranch and Meridian Service Metropolitan District boards in 2017.
